Bottom Line

The Dell Latitude E6420 laptop has its pros and cons. The laptop is built very well and the battery life is also exceptionally long. In addition, we noticed the E6420 would not heat up when ever we pushed the laptop to its limit which was nice to see. That said, the gaming performance on the Dell E6420 is not very good which is not surprise when you look at the graphics technology that is implemented in the laptop. In terms of gaming performance, you will not run current generation games at a decent framerate with this laptop. If you plan on using the laptop for gaming, expect to run last gen games around the low to medium mark.
